Happy Holidays to you, your team and your family.  With the year winding down and 2011 rapidly approaching, you are likely planning for new projects, strategic initiatives and possibly additional hiring/staffing. In the hustle and bustle of the season, it's easy to get swallowed up with to-do lists and year-end deadlines. Before you know it, you are picking up where you left off without a moment to breathe.

This year, give yourself the gift of reflection. As opposed to entering the New Year on autopilot, take some time to think about what you'd really like to accomplish, personally, and with your team this year, as well as the additional resources that may be necessary to take on these challenges.  If your wish list includes hiring--project, contract or direct recruiting, we are here to help!

For the past 15 years, the team at CONEXiS has been assisting some of California's fastest growing technology firms and departments with their staffing needs. To learn more about how we can help you reach your hiring goals, please visit CONEXiS.

HIRING CHALLENGES? DEFINE YOUR HIRING STRATEGY

For some time now,  we've been in contact with you regarding hiring challenges, advice and information, through our CONEXiS newsletter.  As we enter the New Year and what is looking to be a very prosperous and healthy job market, you may be contemplating adding additional resources to your staff-perhaps for the first time in a while.

If you would like the opportunity to discuss your hiring needs and goals as well as have your questions and concerns addressed, I would like to offer a complimentary one-on-one meeting.  For the past 20 years, I have been working with some of Southern California's fastest growing technology firms-and in the process, have talked with and learned from hundreds of clients and candidates.   If our team at CONEXiS can be of service, we'd love the opportunity to work with you.  If not, then I believe we will both have learned something from each other about hiring trends, daily challenges and will benefit from the conversation in the long run.

Topics of Discussion May Include:

 1. Assessment of your current team, their skills, salary levels.  Are we competitive in the industry? What will it take to stay competitive in 2011?

 2. Discussion of upcoming projects, new technologies & strategies. What are other companies doing in this space? What types of candidates/skills sets will be available?

 3. Interview and Hiring Process-Best Practices.  Where are the roadblocks?  Have we adapted our processes to identify what we currently need and value?

4Attracting Top Candidates. Where are today's star performers and how do we reach them? How do we ensure they are funneled to us?

 5. Your Company and Culture.  How are we viewed by potential job seekers? How can we get the word out about positive change and growth?

 6. The Candidates Perspective. What's most important to today's outstanding candidates--is it salary, project, title, culture or something else?

Please contact me at any time to arrange a meeting onsite or phone discussion.  Outstanding candidates seek out companies who value their employees and much of their opinion is formed during the interview process.  I welcome the opportunity to help you identify and attract the talent that you need moving forward.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a fantastic 2011!

HOLIDAY SPECIAL:  A NOTE ABOUT GIFT GIVING

To our CONEXiS Customers and Family,

This year, instead of buying substantial gifts for our employees and customers, we made the decision to spend that money on those who are making the ultimate sacrifice for our Country.

As some of you may know, Fawn Buck's (our Director of Operations) husband is serving our Country in Afghanistan in the Marines.  This is his third deployment and we wanted to send some Holiday Spirit to Chris Buck and his men from the CONEXiS family.

We have sent 3 large boxes (each weighing around 65lbs) to Chris' Company(3rd LAR Erie Company) that should be arriving any day now.  The boxes contain everything that our Troops need to feel some love from home and know that we love them and appreciate all that they do each day to protect our freedom.

We wanted to let you know that we took this step so that you can feel good about this contribution to our Soldiers, too!

Happy Holidays from CONEXiS!  I look forward to working with you in 2011.

Sincerely,
Jim Primrose
